Three Fourteen
Three Fourteen
Three Fourteen is a group of like minded individuals that have joined together to incorporate their experiences into one mash-up of music; a four piece band composed of young guys with old souls. They perform flavorful, protracted sets of reggae and blues-influenced rock. Some songs consist of clear-cut melodies with order, while others offer a sense of flexibility with heavy, variable jams. Along with their originals, they love to play songs by their favorite artists such as The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and many other rock groups.

Within their first two years as a band they have played at The Haverford Music Festival (Havertown, PA); The Ardmore Music Hall (Ardmore, PA); World Cafe Live (Philadelphia, PA); Parx Casino (Bensalem, PA); Harrah’s Casino (Chester, PA); Hard Rock Cafe (Philadelphia, PA); Legendary Dobbs (Philadelphia, PA); Brother Jimmy’s Live (New York, NY); Kung Fu Necktie (Philadelphia, PA); Bourbon & Branch (Philadelphia, PA); The Fire (Philadelphia, PA); Connie’s Ric Rac (Philadelphia, PA); Hightopps Backstage Grille (Timonium, MD); Belle Fest (Bellepain, NJ); Maggie O’Neill’s (Drexel Hill, PA) Sprout Music Collective (West Chester, PA); and many more.

Three Fourteen has shared bills with local and touring bands such as Splintered Sunlight, Bond & Bentley, Curtis Jr., Old Soul Revival, Bumpin Uglies, Pasadena, Suburban Sensi, Tunnel Vision, Vanessa Silberman, Garden State Line, Reef’d, Vilebred, John Faye, Nick Cianci & The Heights, Henry Geller Band, Drive The Bus, My Dog Bill, and more. Three Fourteen’s fan base is a dependent family and their shows tend to seem like a party.

Studio 1311 recorded and mastered the first record “Three Fourteen EP” of 4 tracks. Philly Sound Studios recorded and mastered their latest single “Steady Rain”. Stay tuned for their first album in 2017!
Stella Ruze
Stella Ruze
Stella Ruze's debut effort, So Here - Lp, is a versatile 8-song album that finds the band shape-shifting from intimate pop ballads to hard-hitting funk and bluegrass. Lead singer and songwriter Brendan Johnson delivers a collection of original songs born of campfire family singalongs and impromptu house party concerts, riffing on themes of love, loss and living for the moment. When blended with Katie Burke's angelic harmonies, they create a vocal timbre reminiscent of the great male/female dual leads of the rock and folk continuum.

But pristine vocal harmonies only tell half of the story-this is a band that can play. Burke and Johnson lay rock solid rhythms on mandolin and guitar, complemented by lightning hot interplay and improvisation from keyboardist Mason Wallack and trumpet player Alex Styer. Foot-stomping percussion from Johnson and Styer combine with heady keyboard bass from Wallack to create pulsing beats typically reserved for bands with full rhythm sections.

Stella Ruze treks across musical genres throughout "So Here - Lp", from lush folk soundscapes in "Windows", "Chivalry" and "Hold Me Tight" to brass-infused bluegrass in "Get in Touch" and the title track "So Here". Genre-bending tracks "Somebody Told Me", "Remember June" and "Suede Shoes" place Stella Ruze squarely in a category all their own. Put simply, this is American music...
