Sloan
Sloan is four distinct songwriting voices — guitarists Patrick Pentland and Jay Ferguson, bassist Chris Murphy and drummer Andrew Scott — that nonetheless form a cohesive collective. Long-time Toronto scenesters who will always call Halifax home.

Muchmusic and rock-radio regulars who — via their own murderecords label — maintain strong ties to their indie roots. Money-city maniacs who have a soft spot for sweet sugar tunes. Music vets who, instead of coasting on their cred, continue to challenge themselves with each record.

Over the course of their 25 year career, the four songwriters in Sloan have amassed an outstanding collection of over 200 songs on eleven studio albums. Recently named one of Canada’s top five bands of all-time in a CBC critics poll, Sloan continue to write, record and tour well into their third decade together. 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of Sloan's best-selling album “One Chord To Another”. To celebrate, the band have taken to the road performing the classic album in its entirety before returning to the stage for a second full set of hits and fan favourites. It is an evening with Sloan not to be missed.
