Where should I purchase Underground Arts tickets?
The best places to purchase Underground Arts tickets are:
- on our website (www.undergroundarts.org)
- the Franklin Music Hall box office located at 421 N. 7th Street (Monday through Saturday, noon to 6pm)
- at our on-site box office located in the front lobby of Underground Arts during events.
- Online purchases are handled by our ticketing partner Ticketfly and can be purchased directly through their website at ticketfly.com

What are your box office hours?
Underground Arts tickets are available at the Franklin Music Hall box office at 421 N. 7th Street, open Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 6pm, and open at 10am on Fridays. On days when there is a show at the Franklin Music Hall box office remains open through the duration of the show.
Underground Arts box office, located in the lower lobby at 1200 Callowhill, is available for ticket purchases any time we are open for a show.
Remember, there is never a service charge for cash purchases at our box offices.
Do you accept credit cards at your box offices?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, & Discover and we do not accept American Express.
What time do shows start?
Shows usually start one hour after the posted door opening time. Please check individual event listings for specific information regarding your show.
What is the Black Box at Underground Arts?
The Black Box at Underground Arts is our second venue and bar located adjacent to the main room. We use this room mainly for smaller, more intimate concerts, and a lounge for our larger shows. All tickets for Black Box shows are available through the sames points of purchase as our main room shows.
Is Underground Arts seated?
Underground Arts is a General Admission standing venue. When we do a seated show, it will be specifically listed as such.
Are you handicap accessible?
Yes we are. Underground Arts has a lift system and elevator that lead straight into the venue. Notify any member of our event staff at the street entrance and they will be happy to assist you into the venue. There are handicap accessible bathrooms available as well as easy access to the bar and merchandise.
Is Underground Arts all-ages?
Most of our shows are 21+ and you are required to show a valid picture ID for entry, but please check the event listings on our website for specific information regarding each show. Occasionally we have shows that are 18+ or all-ages. The age requirement for each show is displayed underneath the date of each show’s ticket purchase page. For any 18+ or 21+ events, ticket holders must bring either a valid photo driver’s license, photo state ID card, photo armed forces ID or a photo passport.
What do I need to pick up my tickets at Will Call?
It is important to know where and how your tickets were purchased, what website they were purchased from, and by what method they were paid for. You will need your valid identification, and if you purchased from Ticketfly it is helpful to have the purchase order number.
What if I have an E-Ticket?
If you chose E-ticket as your shipping option please present your “Print-At-Home” paper ticket or “Mobile” QR code ticket at the door to be scanned. Barcodes as well as QR codes can be scanned from your phone.
Can I change the name on a ticket order?
All changes for ticket pick ups must be done through the entity you purchased through.
Does Underground Arts have a bar?
Yes we do. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID upon request.
Does Underground Arts serve food?
Yes we do. The kitchen is open during all main room shows and during select Black Box events.
Does Underground Arts have a smoking section?
The City of Philadelphia banned smoking indoors at public buildings. Patrons must exit the venue in order to smoke cigarettes. When smoking in front of the venue, please be aware that Underground Arts is located in the basement of a residential building. We would appreciate if you dispose of your cigarettes in one of the provided ash trays, and if you could, please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the residents living in the building.

Is parking available?
There is an independently operated parking lot located across the street from the Underground Arts front entrance on Callowhill Street. There are several other neighborhood parking lots as well as metered and unmetered street parking within walking distance. Can I get to Underground Arts by public transportation?
Underground Arts is easily accessible by train, bus, or taxi.
Where is the nearest lodging?
Underground Arts is located at 1200 Callowhill Street and is within a 5 minute walk of Center City, where numerous hotels are located.
Can I bring a camera, video, or audio recorder?
There are no cameras, video recorders, or audio recorders permitted in the venue. All media passes must be approved by band management.
Do you have a lost and found?
If you lose a personal belonging, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you realize that you’ve lost something while you are still in the venue, notify a member of the event staff and they will help you look for it.
